Lawns in LA are drying up as a 15 day water shutdown approaches
As more than 4 million Los Angeles residents are affected by a 15 day water cut off, lawns across the city are dying in this summer heat. We live here and we watch natural lawns disappear. Unfortunately, a two-week water ban is a death sentence to most natural lawns.
We install artificial grass and will do the best we can to help you. Mention #fthepipe (fix the pipe) when you request an estimate for artificial grass installation. We will closely review your artificial turf installation request and do the best we can to provide you with a helpful discount.

L.A. County residents will have to go without outdoor watering for more than two weeks, starting Tuesday, while Metropolitan Water District crews repair a leaking pipeline. The repairs are expected to take up to 15 days. The pipeline that brings water to Southern California from the Colorado River was found to have a large leak. After a temporary fix earlier this year, MWD officials are set to repair the pipeline in its entirety.
If you live in Beverly Hills, Burbank, Glendale, Long Beach, Pasadena, San Fernando or Torrance, you will be directly affected by the new water restrictions. All outdoor watering, including hand-watering and drip irrigation, must be stopped. This also applies to residents of the Central Basin Municipal Water District, Foothill Municipal Water District, Three Valleys Municipal Water District and West Basin Municipal Water District.
As the area braces for a severe drought, officials are urging residents to take measures to conserve water. For the next two weeks, people in the affected areas are being advised to pre-water their trees and gardens, and collect shower or bath water for outdoor use. While indoor water usage will be switched to another supply source during this 15-day period, officials warn that the amount is limited.
