This park offers great views for owners as their dogs can run freely. With separate play areas for large and small dogs, your dog is sure to make some new friends!

Client Reviews:

Positive Review:

"What a wonderful park! Nice and vast and fairly busy. There are water spouts and bowls readily available, and plenty of ropes and balls to play with. There are a few pavilions with shade, only wish they had a few more. Watch where you sit, I caught some dogs relieving themselves around people sitting in chairs!" - Nicole R

Negative Review:

"Took my 5 mo old puppy to the small dog park = fun times with dogs but ended in a total mud bath due to a wet area of dirt from a burst pipe. Took my 6 mo old puppy to the big dog park = attacked by a group of dogs within 5 minutes of arriving. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back to either side" - Alyssa D

Positive Review:

"Great place to bring your dog especially if they're new to being around other dogs. Everyone watches their dogs and cleans up after them. Love the AstroTurf versus the wood chip and dirt. Because they spray it off to keep it sanitary and I don't have to give my dog a bath every time we get home from a dog park." - Angela M

Negative Review:

"Very small and overcrowded. No space for the dog to run." - Jay P

Eagle Rock Dog Park

Eagle Rock Dog Park Best Dog Parks in Los Angeles

Eagle Rock Dog Park is one of the prettiest enclosed dog parks in Los Angeles, located at Eagle Rock Recreation Center. Downfalls:

This dog park offers only street parking so on busy days, parking may be tight. Also, Eagle Rock Dog Park does not have separate areas for large and small dogs, so if your pup is very small and/or reactive this may not be the place for you!

5 am - 7 pm daily, holiday hours may vary.

Client Reviews:

Positive Review:

"I’ve been looking for a halfway decent dog park in Los Angeles for a long time. This one pretty much checks off all of the boxes for me! Most LA dog parks are all dirt. This park has very little loose dirt at all. There’s concrete, turf, and wood chips. It appears as though dog owners clean up after themselves as well! There is plenty of room to run and play, even when it’s a little busy. There are water fountains, benches, and plenty of beautiful mature trees for shade." - Dex D

Negative Review:

"Small dog owners beware. There is NO small dog area. Tons of big dogs who more importantly, have owners who are chit-chatting and socializing instead of watching their dog's behavior.

Immediately upon entering my 10 lb dog was stalked and chased and corralled by big dogs. I asked their owners to please recall their dogs and "leave it" to my dog. Owners assure me it is because they are "playing" but it isn't playing when within 1 min of stalking your dog puts his mouth around my dog's neck. Not to mention poop everywhere and the water fountain doesn't work." -  Yugina Y

Crescenta Valley Dog Park

Crescenta Valley Dog Park Best Dog Parks in Los Angeles

There are also cedar chip areas under and around the mature trees. Other features include a dog wash outside the entry gates; drinking fountains for owners and pets; benches in both areas, some with shade structures; and security lighting.

Downfalls:

Like many other dog runs in Los Angeles, this park features decomposed granite and wood chips, so wear casual clothes. This can sometimes become dusty or muddy. Also note that Crescenta Valley Dog Park offers shorter hours of operation on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Client Reviews:

Positive Review:

"The dogs had a great time. Easy to see everywhere in the park so you'll never lose sight of your dog. Friendly patrons. Water fountain is available outside gates to fill up water bowls. Enjoy the huge park nearby." - Ross W

Negative Review:

"Compared to other dog parks and other general parks, this dog park needs a lot more attention. It is an expansive park that needs better subdivisions. There is a small area to the left for small dogs and an expansive area in the back for larger dogs. THE PROBLEM is that many of the larger dogs are aggressive. They wait for dogs at the door of the park, and most of the dog owners do not stop them from aggressively approaching other dogs. As a result most people that have older, handicapped, or shy dogs are forced to leave the park or allow their dogs to be bullied by aggressive dogs." - B.C.

El Segundo Dog Park

Open at 7 am which is later than some of the other options, so if you're an early riser you may want to check out your other options!

Positive Review:

"We LOVE this dog park! It is massive and has 3 separate areas for small, medium, and large dogs. You can’t even see the end of the park when you enter. Each area has a water fountain, normally with a dog bowl already there. People are very friendly. There are always extra tennis balls to toss around." - Toni S

Negative Review:

"This dog park is all dirt. The rules are not followed at all. The small/timid dog park is constantly filled with bigger aggressive dogs. The owners don't control them at all and get mad at you when you ask them to. There is a bigger dog park for bigger dogs but they refuse to use it. Don't bring your small dogs to this park!" - Cam E

"My dog (black and white) Ace LOVES this park! We are visiting from texas where it’s too hot to go to the park most of the day, so being able to let him loose at this huge dog park so he can play with friends is so relaxing & fun for him. It’s fairly clean, most everyone is attentive to their dogs. I recommend bringing your own water bowl" - Justine J
