Bluff Creek Dog Park
Bluff Creek Dog Park is a very clean and maintained park that offers two fenced-in dog run enclosures for both small and large dogs. Your pup can run freely and socialize with other dogs, or play in the running water in the small man-made creek. The space is a combination of cement and artificial grass, so your dog will stay clean while getting in some exercise. Utilize the complimentary waste bags and water spouts while you're there!

Eagle Rock Dog Park is one of the prettiest enclosed dog parks in Los Angeles, located at Eagle Rock Recreation Center. It's smaller than some of the large dog parks but offers a great design with a number of shades and an artificial turf grass area for your pups to run around. Tiered water fountains and complimentary waste bags make this a pet-friendly area where your dog can socialize. Because it's smaller and less trafficked, this could be a good place to socialize nervous dogs or puppies.
Downfalls:
This dog park offers only street parking so on busy days, parking may be tight. Also, Eagle Rock Dog Park does not have separate areas for large and small dogs, so if your pup is very small and/or reactive this may not be the place for you!

Crescenta Valley Dog Park is a great place to take your furry friend to play. It features two separate areas, 0.5 acres for small dogs and 1 acre for large dogs. Both areas are completely fenced in and have plenty of space to run around. The surface of the park is made of decomposed granite, which is soft and easy on your dog's paws. There are also cedar chip areas under and around the mature trees. Other features include a dog wash outside the entry gates; drinking fountains for owners and pets; benches in both areas, some with shade structures; and security lighting.

Like many other dog runs in Los Angeles, this park features decomposed granite and wood chips, so wear casual clothes. This can sometimes become dusty or muddy. Also note that Crescenta Valley Dog Park offers shorter hours of operation on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Lake Hollywood Park is known and loved in Los Angeles. Located on the edge of Griffith Park, hiking trails are always nearby. With great views of the Hollywood sign, large grassy spaces, and child play areas can easily spend a whole day here. This park is different from most other dog parks in Los Angeles because there is no enclosed dog run and dogs off-leash are not permitted. Enjoy this park as late as you'd like with no specific hours of operation!

There is a small area to the left for small dogs and an expansive area in the back for larger dogs. THE PROBLEM is that many of the larger dogs are aggressive. They wait for dogs at the door of the park, and most of the dog owners do not stop them from aggressively approaching other dogs. Sepulveda Basin Dog Park is one of the largest around! With 6.5 acres of off-leash exercise space, the most active pups will thrive here. With a mixture of natural grass, dirt, and sand, there is more than enough space to accommodate during busy times. Feel at ease knowing there are 3 sections for small, large, and timid dogs which will help your pooch socialize on their terms. As an added bonus, the Sepulveda Basin park also offers agility equipment for dogs!
Downfalls:
This dog park is only open from sunrise to sunset, so those who work late may want to look into other options! Sepulveda Basin Dog Run is also closed every Friday morning until 11 am for maintenance.

With separate areas for large and small dogs, this three-acre fenced-in park is a paw-some spot to let your pup off the leash. Located at the northern end of Dominguez Park on the southeast corner of Flagler and 190th Street in Redondo Beach, California, the dog park is open from dawn until dusk every day except Wednesdays when it is closed until noon for maintenance and upkeep.
The dog park has benches and drinking fountains for both dogs and their humans, as well as scoopers and waste barrels for cleaning up pet waste.
